Who we are

Founded by Lucy Crosby—Radiant Voice exists to cultivate more than just arguments. Lucy has a heart for nurturing confidence in young speakers. She is committed to helping students speak with clarity, grace, and conviction.

Lucy believes that the skills cultivated through speech and debate are a gift that our generation needs. By becoming graceful communicators for Christ, we share his light with the world.

About Lucy

Lucy is an NCFCA alumnus, as well as a speech and debate coach. She is currently employed with the Mount Vernon School District as a paraeducator & is on track to obtain her B/A in Early Childhood Education by 2028. Lucy also works as an independent tutor for children with dyslexia in addition to nannying part-time with BrightStar Care. Lucy has served previously as lead instructor for Young Presenters, a program designed to cultivate public speaking and effective communication skills in children at an early age. Lucy currently works as one of four lead instructors at Deliberate Discourse and has taught students speech & debate skills across the Pacific Northwest, educating upwards of 60 students per camp location. She enjoys working one-on-one with participants to improve their ability to persuade others in a winsome manner. Lucy has competed in and placed nationally in most speech events, Lincoln-Douglas debate, Team Policy debate, and Moot Court. Lucy is a speech coach, debate coach, and Moot Court coach.
